We require that all dogs have an up-to-date rabies vaccination in accordance with Maryland state law and will need to verify the expiration date before the appointment begins. While not required, we also recommend the Bordetella vaccination to help protect your dog’s health.
We usually recommend grooming every 4–8 weeks, though it depends on your dog’s coat. At the end of your appointment, your groomer will give you a personalized recommendation for how often your dog should be groomed.
We use safe, professional products to keep your dog’s skin and coat healthy and happy. We proudly use iGroom, a professional luxury pet care brand known for its environmentally friendly shampoos and conditioners that gently cleanse while keeping the coat clean and moisturized. If your veterinarian has prescribed a specific shampoo, we are happy to use it to ensure your dog receives the best possible care.
To create a calm, safe, and positive grooming experience, we ask that pet parents do not remain in the salon during grooming services. Many dogs feel most relaxed when they can focus on their groomer and routine, and seeing their owners can make them eager to return to you before their service is complete. For your pet’s safety and comfort, we kindly ask that you return once the grooming appointment has been completed.
We recommend daily brushing for all long-coated dogs. Begin with a slicker brush, gently brushing from root to tip to prevent tangles from forming. A light detangling spray may be used to help ease the brushing process and reduce breakage. Follow up with a greyhound comb to check your work. The comb should glide smoothly through the coat. If you encounter resistance, return to the slicker brush and gently work through the area before combing again.
Yes, we accept all breeds and sizes of dogs!
Yes, we require a credit card to be kept on file to book an appointment. Your card will not be charged unless the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time or if you fail to show for your appointment.
No deposit is required to book an appointment. However, if an appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time or if you fail to show, your card on file will be automatically charged.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the appointment time will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service.
Missed appointments without prior notice are subject to a charge of 100% of the scheduled service.
